Why integrate Powerful contact form?
With Powerful contact form integration, you can:
- Create individual conversations for each customer who submits a form
- Automatically capture customer details from the form
- Keep all inquiries organized in your inbox
- Respond to customers directly from Chatty
- Track customer conversation history
Warning
Forms must include either email or phone number to create conversations.
How to set up Powerful contact form integration
Set up forwarding email in Chatty
(If you have already connected your email, skip this step.)
Add an email address as a forwarding email in Chatty to receive form submissions.
- From Chatty, go to Channels
- Click Add email
- Add your email as forwarding email
- Click Send verification email to confirm
Copy forwarding email
Go to Powerful contact form
Open the form you want to connect
Paste email in form settings
- Open form builder
- Click Mail
- Add the email you set up in Chatty as the form notification email
Click Save
Manage form conversations
When a customer submits a form, Chatty automatically creates a conversation in your inbox.
Each form submission:
- Creates a new conversation with the customer's profile
- Captures customer information from the form (name, email, phone)
- Shows form content as the first message
- Allows you to reply directly to the customer from Chatty inbox
Note: Form notification emails won't create duplicate conversations in your inbox.
